Q: Can I taste wines before purchasing them?

A: Yes, we hold regular instore wine tastings as well as a selected range of wines available to taste at no charge in our exclusive ‘Try Before You Buy’ wine tasting machine.

Q: What is the difference between the Wine Tasting and the Try Before You Buy?

A: The wine tasting refers to tastings of a particular wine or wines from a particular winery and is held only at specific times each week.
Try Before You Buy is a selection of different wines styles – usually from different wineries – that you can try every day of the week, whenever we are open. In both cases, it’s free!

Q: Is your Wine Tasting still available each week?

A: Sadly, no. Due to the Covid-19 virus, we have decided to suspend the wine tasting until further notice. However, our knowledgeable staff are able to provide good advice and our popular Try-Before-You-Buy is still available.

Q: Are you open every day?

A: Yes, we are open 7 days a week, plus public holidays including Christmas, New Year and Easter. See hours here

Q: I would like to send a carton of wine to friends interstate. Is that possible?

A: Certainly, we can send a minimum of 12 bottles anywhere throughout Australia. We can also help you with the selection to suit your budget and give you a quote on the freight charge.

Q: Do you have regular specials?

A: Yes, we always have fortnightly Cellarbrations promotions as well as many other instore specials. Please join our “Sippers Club,” or make sure to follow us on Facebook for notice of our latest specials.

Q: Can you deliver the supplies for my party?

A: Yes, we can organise free home delivery with any order over $50. We also have a corporate delivery service, and can loan glassware and ice tubs; delivered at no charge with your order. We also sell party ice and soft drinks. We just need at least 48 hours notice, to ensure we have everything available to make your party a success.

Q: I tried a wine at a restaurant the other night and would like to purchase some. Can you locate the wine and order in special?

A: Yes we can and we would be more than happy to order in for you, as long as you have the details. If you can provide the name of the wine and the winery, or a photo of the label, we will do our best to source it and even notify you when it comes in. Being an independent outlet we are not bound by the rules of the chain stores. The only exception to that is if the wine is a private label, then we won’t be able to source it.

Q: I’m hosting a dinner party for a group of friends and I have no idea about what type of wine/beer/spirits to consider, or even what quantity to order. Can you help?

A: This is a question we get asked a lot. All you need to do is to give us a budget, how many people will be attending and approximate age of the group, and we will put together several options for you to consider, remembering also that we can deliver the goods to you at no extra charge.

Q: Do I have to register for the wine tasting?

A: No. You’re welcome to come to any scheduled tasting without notifying us. If you do register, though, we can send you a reminder when it is getting close. Also, if you happen to miss a tasting for any reason, we can also send you notice of our next scheduled tasting.
